Established in 2011, Hai Au Aviation is a member of the Thien Minh Group - a leading travel and hospitality group in Southeast Asia. Hai Au Aviation is proud to be the pioneer in commercial seaplane service in Vietnam, bringing a fresh and unique travel and sightseeing experience to Vietnam’s most beautiful destinations.

ACHIEVEMENTS

With the first commercial flight from Noi Bai International Airport to Halong bay launched on September 2014, Hai Au Aviation has been offering daily schedule flights to the UNESCO World Heritage site Halong bay as well as sightseeing flights around the bay. In addition, Hai Au Aviation offers charter flights to selected destinations in Vietnam, providing a private and high-end experience customers. As the pioneer in seaplanes and general aviation in Vietnam, Hai Au Aviation has served over 15,000 customers from 42 countries, and operated over 1,000 flights bringing breath-taking sightseeing experiences across Vietnam’s most beautiful landscapes, including Halong, Trang An, etc.

AIRCRAFT FLEETS

The Cessna Grand Caravan 208B - EX

Hai Au Aviation owns and operates three Cessna Grand Caravan 208B – EX amphibian aircrafts. Released in 2014, this aircraft model is considered the safest single engine aircraft in the world, manufactured by the Textron Group (USA), with pontoons assembled by Wipaire Company, Minnesot

Perfectly designed for sightseeing activity

With 12 elegant seats located next to the large-size windows, you will be able to fully absorb scenery outside without obstacles. The flight is low-attitude at 150 meters above sea level, which elevates the sightseeing experience even further. Moreover, once in Halong bay, passengers will experience the exhilarating thrill of water landings and taking offs.

MAINTENANCE

Hai Au Aviation follows the strict maintenance standards of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, as well as in compliance with relevant international standards. Our facilities and equipment are qualified; we also receive technical supports from the manufacturers and other approved maintenance organizations.

AIR CREW

Professional trained and experienced team

In every flight, there are one captain and one co-pilots. Due to the small size of the aircraft, there is no cabin crew.
Hai Au Aviation always ensures fully certified and qualified flight crew who are able to operate under IFR (Instrument Flight Rules). Our captains have at least 2,000 successful flight hours each and have experiences for flying in Canada, Africa, Australia, Vietnam. All first officers are fully-trained, qualified and have accumulated at least 500 flight hours on type.

Thanks to the nature of our product, the pilots are also your tour guides whilst on board.
