Set in a peaceful pastoral valley on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River with wonderful breathtaking views this boutique BandB should not be missed. Peaceful, pastoral valley approx. 20 minutes from Canberra makes Riverview Homestead an ideal base to experience the rural countryside.
Riverview Homestead fronts on to the Murrumbidgee river and is set in 40acres with sheep, lambs, cows, calves, horses who all love to be admired and fed. A couple of cats roam and the chooks provide us and the guests with farm fresh eggs. Wildlife includes kangaroos, wombats, wallaroos, echidna, {even platypus have been sighted on the riverbanks of the property}, wedge tailed eagles and heaps and heaps of colourful Australian birds....even the sulphur crested cockatoo, who fly in large flocks and manage to devastate our hazelnut crop year after year (that's life in the Australian country).
