Our park is located just south of Stanthorpe on the banks of the Severn River. We offer the visitor a number of accommodation options: we have cabins that sleep up to four, with a queen bed and a set of bunks. All linen and towels are supplied and each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom attached. We have cabins with log fires for winter and air-conditioning for our warmer summer months. We also have cabins for couples and families which have either queen bed or bunks with full kitchen and the amenity block (showers and toilets) is close by.
For those travelling with their own accommodation we have large drive through powered sites with water. Our dump point is available for those fully self-contained. For those travellers who do not need electricity we have "bush" camping along the river bank, where you can camp and enjoy the wildlife on the water and have a campfire. We have a camp kitchen with refrigeration and cooking facilities and hot water available.
We are close to three National Parks, the main one being Girraween National Park. You can explore the many walking tracks leading to waterfalls and to some of the huge granite structures that this area is noted for.
We are also in the middle of the Granite Belt Wine industry. You can organize a tour from the park to take you to sample some of the region’s best wines as well as many of the gourmet food outlets in the area. We have cheese, olives, chocolates and strawberries (pick your own) for you to try. We have two micro-breweries for those who enjoy a beer. Our area is famous for apples and the huge orchards provide work for young people who travel through Australia working. We live in an interesting area with lots to see and do.
