Go Ride A Wave Noosa provides 2 hour surf lessons for beginners every day at 10am and 2pm. Included in the lesson is a long sleeved rash shirt or wetsuit and a soft beginner surf board and 2 hours of instruction and fun. We meet 15 minutes before the lesson at our trailer in the car park at Beach Access No 11 in Claude Batten Drive at the river mouth end of Hastings Street. Collect your rash shirt or wetsuit and surf board and walk 100 meters to the beach to begin some basic instruction and a safety briefing. Spend about half an hour to catch your first few waves and then return to the beach for more detailed instruction to help you stand up on your surf board. The remainder of the time is spent in the water with your instructor helping to ensure everyone stands up.
You can just try 1 surf lesson or if you are keen you can either try a 3 or 5 lesson package or if you take a morning lesson you can keep the equipment for the rest of the day for an extra $20 each. Alternatively you can hire some gear from our hire tent on the beach which has surf boards, body boards, Stand Up Paddle boards and chairs and umbrellas.
