Hope Cottage Country Retreat is self catering accommodation located at Assmanshausen Winery, a heritage listed property and former winery 12kms from Warwick Queensland Australia. The winery was one of the first in Queensland, built in 1865. Although no longer operational, it is full of history and Bill who is an accredited heritage tour guide, provides and informative and entertaining tour.
The cottage sleeps up to 5 people and is is fully furbished. We provide the bathroom, laundry and kitchen basics, (loo paper, detergent, etc) as well as kitchen items such as tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, farm fresh eggs, milk and whatever other guests have left in the pantry. All you need to bring is yourself and your provisions! Children are welcome.

If you are an artist, birdwatcher, rambler, cyclist, or are interested in star gazing, this will be your idea of paradise. There are scenic views from the verandah including amazing sunsets and clear night skies.
The owners live on the property and you can just knock on the back door of the main house if you want to know anything and your hosts, Susan & Bill Goddard, will be happy to help.
