Set in the Crown of the Barossa Valley, Angaston, South Australia, surrounded by picturesque vineyards. The Barossa Farmers Market is a unique fresh food market. Our producers are from within the Barossa Valley and close surrounding areas, where they grow and produce the most wonderful array of seasonal fruits, meats, pastries, vegetables, plants and herbs.
The market is located in the historic Yalumba 'Vinters' shed on the corner of Stockwell and Angaston Road, Angaston. The shed was once filled with Yalumba port barrels, it is now the home of the Barossa Farmers Market. We have been operating since October 2002 and are the second longest running Farmers Market in South Australia.
The Barossa Farmers Market plays host to recognised brands, some of which are award winning, such as Jersey Fresh Milk, Barossa Valley Ice Cream, The Dairyman, Gumshire Pork and Trevallie Orchard.
You may spot chefs from the local businesses such as Mark McNamara who comes to the market to purchase produce for the week.
A range of hot drinks are available from the coffee bar, made using Bean Addiction locally roasted coffee beans.
The market is open every Saturday (except for Anzac Day and Christmas day when it falls on a Saturday) from 7.30am to 11.30am rain, hail or shine. There is plenty of parking available, easy access and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that is not to be missed.
