At Pindan Tours, we have Catered and Tag Along Tours through the Flinders Ranges and the Australian Outback, ranging from Half Day trips, Full Day tours and Multi Day tours from 3 to 24 days long. We also specialise in 4WD Training (Basic & Advanced Courses) with the rugged Flinders Ranges as our training area!
Our most popular and affordable catered Flinders Ranges Full Day tour is for those who'd like to experience magnificent views of the central Flinders Ranges as we circumnavigate the spectacular Wilpena Pound. This tour covers some of the local history, native wildlife, ancient geology (of these ranges) and photography, as we get to see some and photograph scenic vistas of the mighty Flinders Ranges!

Our Tag along Tours cover the Flinders Ranges, Outback, remote Australian Desert regions and beyond.

Our Basic 4WD course is 2 days and covers 4WD Theory and Practical and we specialise in one-to-one or small group training and we have Nationally Accredited Driver Trainers who can teach you new four-wheel drive and recovery skills or build on existing knowledge you may have already gained.

Our 4WD training covers topics such as:

• Theory overviews - complete with a 54 page colour Reference Manual for your door pocket
• Trip preparation and safety issues
• Conducting routine maintenance checks
• Identifying terrain, track conditions and obstacles
• 4WD driving techniques in different terrains
• Wheel changing to WHS requirements
• Basic 4WD Recovery skills and techniques

• Key Stall Stop/Start recoveries
• Snatch Strap Recoveries – Theory includes videos of how it should be done
• General UHF radio communication techniques
• Environmental issues & low impact camping
• Towing a Caravan or Camper Trailer
