Port Arthur lavender is situated at the end of beautiful Long Bay situated just 4km from the Port Arthur Historic Site. It is located 1 hour and 17 minutes’ drive from Hobart and is the perfect stop on your travels. Set on 18 acres it comprises of rain forest, lakes, lavender and ocean frontage.
Port Arthur Lavender is a family owned business and is part of a larger farming operation in the South East of Tasmania. There is a visitor centre located on site offering delicious meals, a gift shop showcasing a large range of unique handmade high quality products made from our many varieties of lavender as well as selected local artists. Browse the lavender essential oil distillery, wonder around the fields enjoying the ocean views from the property or try the lavender chocolate and fudge tastings in the gift shop.
Entry is free to the property and we are a family friendly business. We are open to visitors from 10am to 4pm daily and 9am to 8pm throughout the summer season. Café Bookings recommended.
