Golden Nugget Discovery Tours conducts Nature wildlife and heritage tours of Victoria and South Australia of South Eastern Australia. We have an extended 4 day tour and 1 day tours that can be packaged together.
The South Eastern Australia Discovery Tour takes the traveller to the iconic destinations of Victoria & South Australia. The tour departs from Melbourne, Victoria and finishes in Adelaide, South Australia. Along your journey you will experience the Great Ocean Road, one of the best coastal drives in the world, the Grampians National Park, with its rugged mountains and Australian wildlife and the western plains of Victoria before heading into South Australia to discover deep blue lakes, ancient fossil caves and fishing towns of the Limestone Coast. We travel to the Fleurieu Peninsula to experience country farming towns, fabulous coastal views of the Southern Ocean, wildlife and some of the best wineries in Australia, which is on the southern fringe of Adelaide.
The single day tours take you into the central part of Victoria, known as the Goldfields. This part of Victoria had one of the greatest gold rushes in the world in the 1850’s. Our tours cover all the regions of the Goldfields with tours that Nature and Heritage inspired, where you get to experience the nature and wildlife of the National Parks and also the heritage of the gold rush cities and towns with their streets full of Victorian architectural buildings.
The Daylesford tour takes you to the Mineral Spa water centre of Australia, as this region in the Central Highlands of Victoria has the largest concentration of Mineral springs in Australia. On tour you will discover the mineral water at several springs, waterfalls, lakes, Spa towns, wildlife and get to experience bathing in mineral water.
The Pyrenees Wine tour is a wine and food connoisseurs delight, where you get to taste great Australian wine and dine at one of the winery restaurants tasting local food of the region.
