Prickly Moses was born in 2007. The decision was made by Janine Rose (owner) to build a craft brewery on site at Otway Estate Winery. Although a winery, Otway Estate has embraced beer and brewing as much as the love of fine wine.

Otway Estate Winery and Brewery have recently separated the management behind the Beer and Cider production. Otway Brewing is now directing the manufacturing and distribution of Prickly Moses Handcrafted Beer and Forbidden Fruit Cider.

Otway Estate Winery is the Home of Prickly Moses Handcrafted Beers. Otway Estate offers an extremely versatile venue which can cater for a large functions seating up to 150 with tables or smaller area with a capacity of 35. The property is the perfect setting for any type of event, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and even business conferences.

Otway Estate also provides luxury adult accommodation. Each cottage is fully self contained, so you can either curl up in front of the fire in winter, or sit on the veranda in summer. Read a book, watch a DVD, listen to the stereo or laze back in the spa as the jets wile away the strain of a busy day.
