Family owned for three generations; Soljans Estate's stunning winery is located at the gateway to Kumeu Wine Country, Auckland's heritage wine region. Sample award-winning wines at the Cellar Door then enjoy exceptional New Zealand cuisine in the highly acclaimed Winery Café.

The winery vineyard is planted in Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Pinotage - proven grape varieties that excel in the Kumeu region. Growing grape varieties in the region where they grow best enables us to make the best wines that we can.
Soljans Estate's modern winery has the most up-to-date plant and equipment. We employ modern winemaking technology but still retain some of the traditions as well. In addition to the French Oak Barrique we have for aging wine in, we still have and use 65 year old, 2,250 litre, hand-made, Totara barrels for aging our Founders Tawny Port. History is important to us. Soljans Estate is committed to retaining the best of these for future generations to learn from.

With great indoor and alfresco dining areas Soljans Cafe is the perfect place to enjoy brunch or lunch. Open 7 days a week for lunch and breakfast available on the weekends, it is the perfect place to bring family or friends. We serve Mediterranean-style food with a New Zealand twist and the menu changes seasonally enabling our chefs to showcase the fresh, seasonal produce from around the region. Soljans Café is a family-friendly venue, with a dedicated childrens menu and outdoor playhouse to keep our younger guests entertained.
