Moanarua Beach Cottage offers the ultimate hideaway for the discerning traveler wishing to enjoy local hospitality in a tranquil seaside setting.The fully furnished 'whare' incorporates a modern design with an ancient cultural significance, through the unique carvings which depict the kaitiaki/guardians for the local Ngati Awa and Te Whanau a Apanui tribes. Designed for maximum comfort and minimum stress with access to luxury our door spa and BBQ. Continental breakfast provisions in you cottage and complimentary drinks an nibbles as we share stories. The cottage comprises a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with Chalfont gas heating and bedroom and lounge area with King and Single beds, TV and sound system as well as dining table and chairs. The cottage is adorned with contemporary Maori art and the home and garden is a living story book of murals and design features that depict the surrounding environment and the rich cultural history of the area. We have a boat for sunset wine and cheese tours or fishing trips and we have kayaks and bikes for hire.
