Historically 'The Wharf Hub' villa hosted wayfarers back in the days when the rivers were our roads. We've kept this maritime link and offer good clean 'ship shape' home style accommodation for overnight bed and breakfast stays and longer.

Its also a 'Hub' for environment action. Here you can take 'voyages' that help both yourself and marine life. We are home to New Zealand's only Community Reef building effort.

There's activities aplenty from The Wharf Hub. Walk or bike the unique Dunes Trail, visit a 2000 year old tree named Taketakerau, search for valuable ambergris along deserted beaches, kayak 10km downriver past a Taniwha lair, discover reef building, and explore Opotiki's rich history.

The house has full cooking facilities for your use, four bedrooms, Boat House, two bathrooms (heads) and decks aplenty.
