Ruapehu Adventure Rides provides guided Quad Bike and Buggy adventures through farmland, native bush and natural stream crossings, We over look the beautiful World Heritage Tongariro National Park and have true Raurimu Spiral views.
Ruapehu Adventure Rides is located in Raurimu (6 kms north of National Park) and is locally owned and operated by Karl and Maria Splitt, who have lived in the area since 2002. Ruapehu Adventure Rides is operated on 330 acres.
We offer fun, adventure, getting out of your comfort zone, we cater a ride to suit your ability. Tours range from 1/2hr, 1 hr, 1 1/2hr, 2 hrs, 1/2 day and full day can be arranged. We cater to families, offering buggy rides for children under 16 or anyone who doesn't want to self drive. Quad bike riders have to be 16, one rider per quad no doubling,
We provide Helmets, wet weather pants, jackets, gloves, glasses and gumboots.
