Driftwood Retreat & Eco Tours shows you the real New Zealand in comfort and at your pace. Stay in our comfortable architecturally designed retreat beside our conservation wetland. Here you can take an easy walk to see birdlife or feed our friendly alpaca.

We also offer nature tours by kayak or vehicle to the Wairau Lagoon. There you can see and photograph some of the 93 species of bird which have been identified there and hear the story of the early Polynesian and European settlers from your guide. It is an area that is very peaceful, a long way from the tourist crowds.

We want to make your visit special and provide healthy home baking and can provide tips for traveling both in Marlborough and the South Island. We look forward to sharing our pieces of paradise with you.
