Wairere Boulders is a Nature Park built by a Swiss imigrant couple between 1999 1nd 2003. Walks are offered between 30 min and 2 hrs through a world unique valley, showing eroded basalt rocks in subtropical rainforest. There is no similar valley in the world and the park got voted best place in Northland in 2012. For detailed information, see our website.
