Rippled Earth was first started in 2007. Sam a local lad, had started off in tourism from a young age as the family owned a horse trekking company. on leaving home he worked for kayaking companies in Milford Sound and Abel Tasman while attending Lincoln University. on completion of his science degree Rippled Earth ran its first tours.
Rippled Earth specializes in kayaking tours at the head of Lake Wakatipu along with guided walks up into Mt Aspiring National park.
