Located in South Taranaki within easy distance of many local attractions such as Lake Rotokare, Egmont National Park, Dawson Falls, Pioneer Village, and Tawhiti Museum and only 52km or 40 minutes from New Plymouth!
The campground has a wonderful rural setting with views from the camp of Mt Taranaki. Located in an idyllic , peaceful setting within 15 minutes walk of Eltham township. Private river with water hole great for swimming, kayaking and trout fishing (with license). We also have powered sites for caravans and can accommodate tents as well.
The camp is run as a venue for block bookings for large groups but can on occasion be hired to tourists wanting clean, cheap accommodation with self contained bathrooms. Guests can bring their own pillows and linen or hire ours.
Accommodation Available:
The TET Cottage which sleeps 2 to 4 people and has a full kitchen, shower and toilet. The TET Cottage is available at $70 per night.
The Mt View Chalet sleeps 6 people and has a toilet, shower and electric jug. The Mt View Chalet is available from $120 per night.
The TET Lodge sleeps 8 to 12 people and has a toilet, shower and kitchenette and is available at $180 per night.
