At Durrell Wildlife Park you’ll come face to face with some of the rarest animals on earth and discover the stories of their fight for survival. Walk around the 32-acre Park with a careful, patient eye and you’ll be rewarded with the sight of some of the most endangered animals from the wildest places on Earth, living in beautiful, natural enclosures. With activities ranging from animal talks to behind the scenes experiences, this is the perfect way to spend a day out with the family in Jersey!

Founded in 1959 by author and naturalist Gerald Durrell, the Wildlife Park is a captive breeding, research and training centre for conservation efforts worldwide. We've trained over 5,500 conservationists from 135 countries, restored species from single-digit number to viable populations, restored entire island ecosystems from bare rock to thriving habitat... and... no word of a lie, changed the role of zoos – from 'attraction' to 'ark' for threatened creatures.
