Jersey Zoo began as the first ever conservation-themed zoo. 50 years later, Gerald Durrell’s animal haven is the natural place to discover some of the world’s most incredible creatures. Whether you’re after fun, tranquility, knowledge or a place to soak up the sunshine, this stunning 32 acre park with valleys, woodland and some of the world’s rarest animals is the perfect chance to experience ‘the jewel in Jersey’s crown’. With bears, bats and birds galore, as well as many species of reptile and primate, including gorillas, orang-utans, lemurs and tamarins, you can relax and stay a while or see the best bits in under 2 hours!

If you get hungry and thirsty on your way round, you can enjoy a delicious meal or snack at Cafe Firefly or Cafe Dodo, and your little monkeys can burn off some energy at our outdoor play area.

Jersey Zoo is open daily (except for Christmas Day) from 0930-1800 (summer) and 0930-1700 (winter).
