Hello everyone! I am Elizabeth! I love innocence in everything, Winnie the Pooh, sweets, shopping and Eros Pamazzotti (thought this has nothing to do with music :) ). I am afraid of bugs and I hate mediocrity. My favorite book is “Steppenwolf” by Herman Hesse and my favorite author is Kurt Vonnegut.When I was a little girl, I was a ballerina and a dreamer. I dreamеd that I would grow up to become a fireman, to ride a horse and to make my place safe for ever - my grandmother's attic and its angels. I did not become a fireman, but I did ride a horse (once) and I have made sure that my grandmother's attic is safe and now I make angels and I write stories about them and I share this place with other people. My angels are filled with fragrant dried flowers and my love and good wishes for you. Part of my message is that if we open our hearts, we can see an angel in every small and ordinary thing.The beginning of the story about my angels is:
Once upon a time, a little girl and a teddy bear lived in a very large house with a huge garden full of flowers. Their favorite place, however, was the attic of her grandmother. Every day the girl and the bear would secretly climb the wooden green ladder and sink into their fantasy world. There, time had stopped. Here and there, the sun would seep into the twilight. The old trunks and cupboards were filled with treasures - old books and pictures, silk and lace dresses and whatnot. The silence was broken only by the subtle rustling of many wings. When their eyes got used to the dark, the girl and the bear began to notice the permanent residents of this wonderful world - the angels from her grandmother's attic. They were everywhere - flying here and there, busy at their angels' work or sitting for a little rest on the old cabinets. The angels had the scent of dried herbs and flowers that the girl and bear loved so much. If this story seems incredible, then look at my angels and you will believe it !
In May 2010, I opened a small gallery to preserve its magic. When I came to this place, the street was a dirty and dark. I was so sad for the trees, for the street, for the people who live here and do not care about this place. I decided to show to the tree in front of my gallery that I love it. I decided to show the people that everybody can makes something beautiful with such simple materials. I started to decorate this tree and it felt my love everyday. I believe that if you love somebody and show your love in some way, this love will come back to you. And for the third summer in a row, my tree created a miracle for me. Until the end of November, every day at the same time, it sent me a lot of birds. They sang for me and my angels for one hour every day. My friend from Iceland, Hlynur, made a video about my magic tree. Now, it’s world famous :) . People love my tree and it makes us happy. Believe in miracles and dreams, and they come true!
I believe in encouraging children and I love working with them. Through my gallery, I organize and participate in many charities for children. Some are: Gallery in the open sky - I organized in the suburbs where there are no galleries. There, the children were able to create together with great artists. It was an unforgettable experience. I organize Art therapy - for families at risk, for people under stress, for all those who want to create. I work a lot with autistic children. For them, it is very important! Art is a way to open the door to their world! Every year in the beginning of December, I am one of the participants in International Charity Bazaar, organized by the International Women's Club Sofia. One day of the year, I am from Mexico :) because I support the Mexico stand. I support all charity events in American College of Sofia. All proceeds go to the ACS Scholarship Fund.
I am blessed because only the most wonderful people visit my shop! I wanted to share my joy from meeting them with everybody and, somehow, connect these wonderful people from all over the world. This was the beginning of my new project: "Say something nice to a stranger" . Letters and words are magic. Together, let's write a book, full of good messages to good people! Together, let's create magic - the magic of a good word!We can make this world a little bit a better place. Become a part of my new project :"Say something nice to a stranger".
