Jacob Gade’s Tango Jalousy is the best known piece of music written by any Dane. As late as the 1970s someone on the planet played Tango Jalousy once every minute, only the Beatles’ Yesterday could match its success.
Tango Y Vinos serves both rustic tapas and sophisticated three-course menus. In addition, the discerning guests have a vast variety of wine to choose from.
In the stemning fulde concert area you have the opportunity to enjoy intimate concerts on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with some of Copenhagen’s best musicians and singers. And every Tuesday, the tango lovers can dine and learn to dance tango.
With music more in the background there are 30 seats in the wine area where more than thousand bottles of wine prank the wall.
During the summer season there is outdoor seating and the restaurant is also open for lunch.
During Winter and Sommer jazz festivals, every year in February and July, there are concerts from early afternoon until late into the night. Just come by and you can buy your ticket on the door.
