Memorial Pegasus Museum

The Memorial Pegasus Museum is dedicated to the British and Canadian Airborne troops who landed in Normandy early on D-Day, 6th June 1944.

The vast collection of original artefacts, along with guided visits and a film enable visitors to comprehend the momentous events of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy.

Situated in the museum park is the famous Pegasus Bridge, liberated early on D-Day by glider born troops, and a full size Horsa Glider capable of carrying 30 men into combat.
