The Käfer roof top restaurant is the one and only public restaurant in a parliament building worldwide.
It is situated next to the glass dome and offers a breathtaking panoramic view over the eastern part of the city. We serve modern German cuisine prepared exclusively with the freshest regional products, accompanied by finest German wines. The location opens outstanding perspectives for events and gatherings. From 10 to 220 guests, from cocktail receptions to gala dinners, from private celebrations to corporate parties – we are happy to transform your personal ideas into premier events.
Due to security issues, please be so kind to provide first name, last name and birth dates of all guests coming to the restaurant. For a quick and easy access please take an ID with you.
Access to the entrance is via visitor center at the Scheidemannstraße. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that due to Bundestag regulations, the last lift leaves for the restaurant at 10:00 p.m. and all guests must have left the building by midnight. Please note that smoking is not permitted in the restaurant or anywhere in the building or on the terrace.
