Mystic is a Multiplex Facility of Art and Taste in a 350 sqm renovated building, 120 years old, just behind the Panathenian Stadium, where the first (recent) Olympic Games took place in 1896.
On the ground-level area one can see “Mpakalaki” (little old-fashioned grocery shop) with products by small-scale producers from all over Greece, such as wines, tsipouro, honey, cold cuts, cheese, legumes, herbs. It’s air-conditioned and with the capacity to seat 20 persons .
In the cellar there are barrels from different wine varieties, which someone can taste for free before selection, as well as bottled wines of fine quality from small producers. The cellar area could be booked for private meetings/celebrations and up to 25 seated px capacity.
The air-conditioned central hall and cocktail bar has the capacity to seat 75 persons.
Finally, at the open terrace one can admire a simulation of old Athenian atmosphere, since an Athenian kiosk back from the 1950s is creating the bar setting, vintage tables and chairs, as surrounded by flowers and herbs which fuse their fragrance in the atmosphere. The terrace area has a capacity to seat 75 persons.Terrace is closed from Christmas until 10 of March.
Apart from the Mystic Pizza and Pasta Menu, with cannabis and dinkel flour, fresh salads, and vegan selections, one can taste traditional Greek recipes such as goat ala Samothrace, chickpeas with pastrami or kavourmas and shrimps in the oven, sautéed greens (“horta”), kavourma with eggs, smoked seafood and many more!
The music selected to embed the place is jazz-ethnic ballads, always in a low tone volume. The place also accommodates live jazz mini concerts, painting, photography and sculpture exhibitions on a regular basis.
