An educational experience for the whole family. See how people lived in the old Icelandic farming community. The farm of Grenjadarstadur dates back to Iceland's settlement over a thousand years ago. For a long time, it was one of the area's chief farms and became the site of a church, parsonage and a post office. Next to the farm house, there is a service building where there is a coffee shop and facilities to eat your own lunch. There is also an area where children can play. Handmade souvenirs are available in a gift shop.
