East Coast
As a first stop we will visit a unique place: Punta Bianca. This spectacular cliff is a white stone formation that looks out on blue Sicilian sea. We will continue our tour along the coast until we reach the village of Palma Montechiaro and its imposing Chiaramonte Castello (the only castle built by the family that face to the sea) also known as the castle of the Leopard novel by Tomasi di Lampedusa.
 
The excursion also includes a visit to the Monastery of Benedictine Nuns where we will have the opportunity to interact with the cloistered nuns. You will also have the chance to taste the famous “Biscotti ricci”, a tasteful local specialty which consist in almond biscuits made on ancient recipes.
 
In the afternoon, the last stop includes a visit of an important winery of our Province.
