The Science Centre Immaginario Scientifico (IS) in Pordenone is an interactive and multimedia science museum, where visitors are invited to touch and experiement the mysterious beauty of nature, to experience the joyful taste of research and the adventure of science, while having fun in a friendly environment.
Fenomena is a space dedicated to the collection of hands-on exhibits (interactive points) organized according to different theme-based paths: there are a series of objects to touch and explore, in order to approach natural phenomenons and the physical laws that rule them in a pleasant way,
Kaleido is the area that hosts multimedia theme-based exhibitions: beautiful images and original musics help create a magical atmosphere where scientific contents mix with emotional involvement.
Cosmo is the planetarium, with conducted tours to the heavens.
Immaginario Scientifico is much more than and exhibition space: within its informal learning programme, it organizes edutainment activities such as making and tinkering labs, scientific birthday parties and nights at the museum. All the activities aim to help young generations to develop an open and positive attitude towards museums and science.
