Scilla Maris Charming Suites is located in front of the Vendicari natural reserve just outside Noto, in the vineyards of Nero d’Avola, in the marshes and Marzamemi. The structure consists of an old part and a modern part.
The first one, which includes the reception, the restaurant, 3 suites and the millstone, it’s the result of a careful restoration of an old ruin of the Bourbons. The new part includes 6 suites with private patios and views of the landscaped pool area.
The suites, elegantly furnished with antiques and design, offer every comfort: attention to detail, quality fabrics and linens, private outdoor area.
Strength of our resort is the restaurant “The Datterino”, which offers a reinterpreted local cuisine. Tradition, excellent raw materials, fruits and vegetables at zero miles, make our restaurant a point of reference in the gourmet options of the whole area.
For our guests we provide: cooking lessons, guided tours of the wine cellars of the territory and food and wine tours.
The offer is enriched by small wellness area with turkish bath, sauna and emotional shower.
A standardized tourism will never offer an authentic experience of what is the real essence of Sicily, because every thing, every place, they are extraordinarily multifaceted, rich in culture and significant.
Based on this awareness it comes this Resort, as a desire to share with you the wonder we tested in this unspoilt place of Sicily.
Being in front of the Vendicari reserve, opening the windows at wake up and see the pink flamingos in flight, it’s not a common thing.
We were so enchanted by nature of Noto, suspended between dream and reality and from this old millstone, to leave everything for this land, for this adventure. Our philosophy it’s simple: eco-sustainability in the managing of this Resort, paying attention to the uncontaminated environment like a duty and respect it with no compromise.
