Bridges is all about fish! Executive Chef Andrès Delpeut is always looking for creative ways to make classic traditional dishes perfect with international influences and a unique twist. Bridges is the place where every ‘Amsterdammer’ feels at home: a restaurant with inviting service,
hospitality and conviviality; a place to enjoy the spectacular pairings of seafood and wine. Bridges: a dining experience to delight all senses. Needless to say, the restaurant also caters for people who enjoy meat.

Within a few months of opening, Bridges was heralded as one of the best restaurants in the Netherlands. In November 2013 Bridges was awarded with a Michelin Star. It is a favorite among Amsterdam residents, international (hotel) guests, business executives and celebrities.
Since 2013 Bridges and Michelin starred chef Ron Blaauw enjoy a unique culinary collaboration. Using innovative international influences, Blaauw raised the restaurant to an even higher level in a contemporary manner.

In August 2015 Bridges was totally redesigned. French interior designer Christophe Daudré has turned this modern seafood restaurant into an even more inviting, elegant and warm dining hotspot. While Paris is famous for its Eiffel Tower, tourists come to Amsterdam to see its canals. Michelin star Restaurant Bridges is located on the oldest canal in Amsterdam where the movement and reflections of the water were the source of inspiration for the designer.

Our Wine Director in charge of Bridges, Lotte Wolf, tastes, selects and serves ranges of wine and vintage champagnes. She is one of the few female sommeliers in the Netherlands. More French influences can be found in the excellent selection of cheeses and the opportunity to wine and dine in complete privacy in the Private Dining (for groups up to twelve people), which provides pleasant views of the Vinothèque and the historical canal.
