Páteo Alfacinha was created in 1981-1984 by Vitor Seijo, a passionate connoisseur of Lisbon, where he built his dream - to requalifying a special area of the city.

Loyal to his passion for Lisbon, Vitor Seijo thought of merging in a Patio, typical residential areas, noble zones and traditional trade. Thus, the construction of several areas true to the beginning of the 20th century:
The chapel of “Tired Saint Anthony”,
The barber shop;
The tavern,
The bakery with a wooden-fired oven;
The “Pregões” room, a tribute to the former street vendors
The pub (Cervejaria);
The “Mariquinhas house” – a traditional house for the “alfacinhas” (inhabitants of Lisbon) at that time;
The Noble room and its Winter Garden
The ceramic and tile workshop room

30 years have passed and Páteo Alfacinha remains a multifaceted place, where you can find a restaurant and several rooms and areas for your event. We promise to deliver an unforgettable day in one of the venues in Lisbon that is best known to showcase the city’s traditions, cuisine and history!
