For years we were impressed by rich culture of the native americans, captivated by the unusual, colored and rich character of this culture, characterized specially by nature loving living. After that, traveling around the world, we found in every country a small coffee shop which attracted us with his special enviroment. All these had something in common. Besides the beautiful aromas, we were attracted by the worm and good will of the visitors, who were enjoying the coffee and talking without a hurry.

All these experiences served as decisive factors in the creation of the coffee-shop concept. TucanoCofee, based on an ethno design, atmosphere and the culture of the coffee producing countries. ”Love.Peace.Coffee.”, the motto of the coffee shop was inspired by era of birth of rock’n’roll and hippie subculture which standed out for its philosophy and people craving to return to purity of nature through love, pacifism and freethinking.

In order to develop and promote culture of true, high quality, freshly roasted coffee, it was decided to work with 100% Specialty arabica from the best regions and plantations in the world. Specialty Coffee – is a culture of growing, processing, roasting and making coffee beans.
Being members of SCAE we make coffee only from selected 100% Specialty Arabica, which grows at plantations in regions of Africa and Latin America only in ecologically-clean conditions in highlands, is hand-picked and processed without using chemicals.

In 2010 an exceptional and creative team was gathered, and work on the first coffee shop in Chisinau began. The Republic of Moldova being a transit country between East and West is a perfect place for creation of a new concept. A place with a pleasant vibe and a good feng shui was chosen in the center of an old city, and in November 2011 the doors of the first Tucano coffee shop opened. Now we have not only 4 coffee shops opened in Chisinau, but also in UAE, and Romania - București, Arad, Timișoara, Cluj, Brașov and other cities and countries coming soon.
