«Taverna Grolle» has established on Vasilyevsky island in 2011. The entourage of 5 restaurant halls is created by oak furniture, hand painted plafonds and lamps, panoramic view on Bolshoy prospect and Saint Andrew's Cathedral. Evenings in Taverna are especially cozy: the candles are melting on brick walls, the musicians are playing guitar and accordion. The huge bronze chargrill in the shape of octopus and the two-faced rostrum-siren on the bar stand are invented and realized by sculptor professor of Academy of Arts Pavel Shevchenko. Both sights are very functional: we prepare fish and meat on the chargrill, guests are drinking on the bar stand. We pour draught beer, lots of strong drinks for gentemen and lots of cocktails for ladies. The wine card includes both wines from Old and New World, by bottle or by the glass. In the summertime you can enjoy our pretty terrace full of live flowers and if necessary warm plaids.
