Our Terrasse
Located in the heart of Zurich’s Old Town, our terrace seats up to 60 people, has the look and feel of a Mediterranean piazza and is one of the most beautiful on Münsterhof Square. As you sit around the fountain, our friendly and attentive staff is happy to serve you refreshing drinks, the finest specialties on small plates and delicious ice cream creations throughout the day. The Ground Floor
The “masculine” ground floor of the Restaurant Münsterhof features sleek, angular design. The walls are adorned with original sketches by Ferdinand Hodler, the tables are decorated with fresh flowers, and an oversized copper beer tap crowns the buffet. The relaxed, minimalist decor has the feel of a traditional pub, while at the same time incorporating modern design inspiration.
The First Floor
The first floor of the Restaurant Münsterhof is dominated by “feminine” lines and curves. The long, comfortably upholstered benches, the eye-catching granite tabletops and the variety of copper ornaments all create a cozy yet modern atmosphere. The Liebesgarten mural on the wall, known throughout Switzerland, served as the principal inspiration of not only the culinary direction of the Münsterhof, but also the restaurant’s interior decoration, architecture and design. In addition, the upper floor is also home to the smallest bar in the city of Zurich, which is located next to the entrance to the dining room.
