Connemara National Park is about 15 mins. drive.We're adjacent to the Killary Adventure Company where you can choose a range of activities including kayaking, bunjee-jumping, high ropes, climbing wall - and bike rental.
Within 10-15 minutes drive of some of Connemara's best attractions - including the very beautiful Kylemore Abbey and beaches at Glassilaun and Lettergesh.
Driving Directions: The Connemara Hostel is approximately 60 kilometres from Galway City.
From Galway City take the Clifden road (N59), go through the towns of Moycullen and Oughterard. At Maam Cross (Peacock’s Hotel) turn right and head for Maum. Take the left at the T junction in Maam and head for the village of Leenane. Drive 5 km past Leenane on the Clifden road. Just past the Killary Fjord viewing area you will then see sign(s) for The Connemara Hostel pointing to the right - The Connemara Hostel is 1 km down to the end of this narrow road.
