Located in the cornerstone of Irelands Ancient East in lush green country side of Co Wexford Wells House and Gardens is the award winning tourist destination.
The house and gardens are privately owned by Uli & his wife Sabine Rosler. The house and gardens were designed by the renowned architect Daniel Robertson, famed for his work in such estates as Powerscourt and Kilruddery. Since opening to the public in 2012 the owners Uli & Sabine Rosler have created an award winning attraction with a focus on attention to detail and bringing the past to life. Their on-going restoration work on the house and gardens ensures the future of the house and the estate for generations to come.
The stunning Victorian Terrace gardens, arboretum and parterre gardens frame a picturesque parkland and landscape with woodland walks, a craft courtyard, falconry and our own restaurant named after the cook from the turn of the century Mrs Stone all being part of a great visitor experience.
Our unique “living house tour” offers a step back in time, conducted by a tour guide in Victorian costume there are no “do not touch” rules, visitors are invited to sit on the furniture and experience life in a Victorian house.
