A comfortable pub style restaurant overlooking the shores of Lake Huron. We are the oldest building in Goderich, built in the late 1830's. First a private residence for the first commissioner of Goderich, then a thriving hotel, and for the last 50 + years a restaurant that serves the community, surrounding area and the many tourists that visit our beautiful town and beaches.
We have a large outdoor patio on the edge of one of our town parks, that also has an amazing view of our stunning sunsets over Lake Huron. In the winter a cozy fireplace lends a cheery presence to ward off the cold winter chill off of that same lake!
Our specialities are chicken wings, ribs, our home cut fries; but most of our regulars and tourists return for our 'fish and chips'. Our best seller is our Perch and Chips and pickerel; caught in the Great Lakes. We have an extensive menu which is posted on our website. We have 18 draught lines, many independent and local breweries, as well as the standard best selling Canadian brews..
We are a casual, family friendly dining establishment with a 120 seat dining area on our first level ( 90 + 30 in a private dining area). We also have a 2nd floor reception area that is great for having special events (birthday parties, retirement, Christmas). This area seats up to 50 comfortably for a sit down dinner or more for a "come and go" event.
Park House is very popular on the weekends so reservations are recommended on Friday and Saturday nights, even on our cold snowy winter nights! People in Goderich love to eat out!!
