Pacific Marine Mammal Center rescues, rehabilitates and releases marine mammals that strand off the Orange County coastline and inspires ocean stewardship through research, education and collaboration. Since our inception in 1971, PMMC has rescued over 8,000 marine mammals.
Guests can visit and view our current sea and sea lion patients recovering at our center. Our most common patients include California sea lions, Pacific harbor seals, Northern elephant seals and Northern fur seals (some animals may not be present dependent on season).
PMMC is open everyday from 10 am - 4 pm to the public. Admission is free but donations are welcome.
