The BLVD is the region's premier destination for dining, shopping, entertainment, and the arts. The newly revitalized downtown area is home to a wide variety of locally-owned restaurants and eateries, with offerings encompassing cuisines from Italian and Greek to Brazilian, Armenian and Salvadorean. There are plenty of things to do, including the Lancaster Museum of Art & History with its regularly rotating exhibitions; the Lancaster Performing Arts Center, offering live performances ranging from comedy and musicals to acrobatics and orchestras; BLVD Cinemas, featuring independent films as well as blockbuster flicks in plush recliner seating; and Underground Bowl, an upscale bowling lounge located beneath BeX Bar & Grill. Visitors will also enjoy the nightlife at venues such as the BeX Lounge, Pour d'Vino wine bar and bistro, and Kinetic Brewing Company.

The BLVD is the place to be for community events. Join us every Thursday year-round for the BLVD Market, which also features the Sierra Toyota Concert Series during the summer months. Every September, head downtown to help us Celebrate America on the BLVD, a USO-themed event featuring patriotic displays and performances, a tribute to our service members, a classic car show, and a fireworks spectacular. Also in September, gear up for the Streets of Lancaster Grand Prix, with professional go-kart racers speeding along the streets of downtown at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.

October brings the BooLVD Halloween & Harvest Festival, featuring family-friendly fun including trick-or-treating and a costume contest the Saturday before Halloween. To round out the holidays, join us to experience A Magical BLVD Christmas, complete with a Christkindlmarkt, train rides, ice carvings, snow, and - of course - Santa.
