The Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave is a 65 acre attraction located at the top of Lookout Mountain. The museum displays artifacts of the Old West and depicts the life of William F. Cody. Exhibits include American Indian artifacts, antique firearms and Wild West show posters. Hands-on activities for children and Wild West videos also are offered. There is also a gallery with changing exhibits on Buffalo Bill and Old West themes. A large observation deck provides a spectacular view of the Denver metropolitan area and the Colorado Rockies. There is also a picnic area.

Buffalo Bill's grave, where he was buried after his death in 1917, is a short walk from the museum. The Pahaska Tepee gift shop, the largest museum shop in Colorado, is located on the site near the grave. Pahaska Tepee also houses a cafe which offers buffalo entrees and other lunch items.
