The City of Loveland Farmers Market will be starting its 8th year organizing the Farmers Market at Fairgrounds Park just south of downtown Loveland. The market has grown over the years and has become a destination event where people come to gather and enjoy live music, purchase local fresh food, and browse the many vendor booths. Fairgrounds Park facility is a large, covered pavilion with picnic table seating, plentiful shade and free parking. It is adjacent to a splash park, playground, recreational trail system, Big Thompson River, dog park, skate park and multiple ball fields. Attendance has significantly grown each year at the market and we are expecting crowds of over 1200 at each market this year.The City of Loveland Parks and Recreation Department oversee the City of Loveland Farmers Market (CoLFM). CoLFM will be located at City of Loveland Fairgrounds Park located off of South Railroad Avenue. The City of Loveland Farmers Markets will strive to offer and support local agriculture producers by providing a marketplace for the freshest, locally grown or raised vegetables, fruits, meats, poultry and dairy; supporting local food artisans and the community. The CoLFM will run Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., June 25 – September 24, 2017. The CoLFM provides an outlet for horticulture and agriculture related produce (vegetables, fruit, flowers, honey, meat, etc.) from home gardens, small plot noncommercial growers, small plot commercial growers, farms, and horticulture-based handicrafts. SNAP is excepted at all markets.The last Sunday of each month we have local breweries on site raising money for the local food bank, live music every week and of course food trucks. We are open rain or shine so come on down!
