The French and Austrian owners have poured their hearts and souls into creating an atmosphere that is best described in one German word: gemütlich. The carefully chosen artifacts and candlelight combine to make this a one-of-a-kind charming hideaway not be missed when visiting Aspen. Enjoy a glass of rose, perhaps paired with Foie Gras au Torchon or Truffle Risotto, on the sheltered outside patio and you will be transported to the backstreets of Paris.
First-timers are wise to look past the restaurant name, though, as French Executive Chef Sebastien Chamaret - veteran of various 2 and 3 three-star Michelin establishments - has brought the city’s only authentic French restaurant to the forefront of Aspen’s lunch and dining scene.
