The Iron Mountain Hot Springs is North America’s newest hot springs center. It’s nestled along the bank of the Colorado River in historic Glenwood Springs, Colorado — long known as a world-class wellness destination.
Iron Mountain shows its commitment to excellence at every turn, from the lodge-style bathhouse with beautifully appointment locker rooms to the 100% pure, chemical-free mineral water in its 16 thermal soaking pools. Enjoy the adult, quiet zone with spa music and sounds of the river flowing by and take in the views of the Rocky Mountains in every direction.
Each of the soaking pools is a little different, with varying views and temperatures ranging from 98 to 108°F. Two riverside pools have pebbles on the floor for reflexology and foot massages, and two have infinity edges so that the line between pool and river are blurred for meditative contemplation. All are surrounded by a quiet zone to protect the serene environment.
A large, accessible, freshwater family pool and attached jetted spa are located nearby. With respective temperatures of about 93 and 103°F, guests of all ages are welcome.
The onsite Sopris Café serves snacks, wraps, flatbread pizzas, ice cream, and an array of hot and cold beverages. Adults can enjoy beer, wine or a variety of premixed cocktails.
Iron Mountain Hot Springs is located less than an hour from seven ski areas, including all of the Aspen and Vail resorts, making it ideally situated for skiers who want to relax in the therapeutic water after a long day on the slopes.
