Sam's No.3 was the third of five Coney Island style restaurants in Denver, Colorado opened by Sam Armatas throughout the 1920's. Sam's No.3 was established in 1927. Located at 1527 Curtis Street in the heart of downtown Denver. After a series of moves throughout, and the name, Sam's No.3 only being used as a Corporate Name, Sam's No.3 was re-established in 1998 by Sam's son, Spero, and Grandsons Sam, Alex, and Patrick in Aurora, Colorado. On March 3rd, 2003, Sam's No.3--Downtown, was opened near the original location at 1500 Curtis Street. A Third Sam's No.3 location was opened in Glendale, Colorado in 2013.
Sam's No.3 offers Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, features classic American, Mexican, and Greek foods. With a Full bar, Espresso Bar, and sports on TV's--Sam's No.3 continues to offer excellent food quality, a warm atmosphere, and reasonable prices in a busy and clean atmosphere.
Featured on Food Network, and providing some of the tastiest Diner food--Sam's No.3 continues to serve Denver just as "Mr. Sam" intended more than 80 years ago.
