Soaring® Tree Top Adventures is an all-day family friendly Colorado zip line adventure tour for the whole family. Our zip line tour through the mountains of Durango, Colorado, is so much more than your average zip line.

Your day begins with a train ride in our first class train car on the historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, which is included in your Soaring package. You will start your day from one of two locations: Downtown Durango Station (2 hour train ride) or the Rockwood Station (45 minute train ride). We are located six miles from the nearest road deep in the San Juan mountains north of town, so the train is the only way to get to our location. Once you have made it through the majestic highland canyons, you will arrive at our remote location in the San Juan National Forest and you will be greeted by our Sky Rangers. Our Sky Rangers, or zip line guides, are extensively trained for your safety and will accompany you while you Soar from tree top to tree top, experiencing 27 different zip line spans throughout the day. You will also meet our Eco Rangers, or ecology specialists, who will educate you along your zip line adventure about the ecology of this unique area, as well as share Soaring’s commitment to sustainability and preservation of the rare old-growth Ponderosa forest where Soaring resides.

A visit to Soaring is not complete without treating your appetite as well. Included in your full-day experience is a delicious four-course gourmet lunch served on a suspended platform that overlooks the beautiful Animas River. We have several delicious lunch options prepared on site by our skilled chefs, including vegetarian options and a children’s menu. Our kitchen staff is also adept at handling special dietary restrictions and food allergies with advance notice.
