EMPOWER was founded, in 2009, with a passion for leadership and with the lofty objective of inspiring and empowering individuals and communities through adventure. Located on 25-acres of wooded and open terrain, EMPOWER features Connecticut's only true zip line canopy tour; which includes over a half-mile of interconnected zip lines, sky bridges and optional adventure obstacles all taking place through 40-75 feet up in the forest canopy. EMPOWER also offers Tree Climbing Adventures and a Map & Compass Scavenger Hunt Trek. All EMPOWER adventures are led by professionally trained and experienced guides - meaning our team will be with you to ensure safe participation, and to provide energy, excitement, and support throughout your adventure!

EMPOWER adventures are perfect for individuals, families and groups of all ability and experience levels. The reservation-based nature of EMPOWER helps you avoid waiting in long lines and maximizes guest engagement. Each adventure includes a safety and familiarization briefing ("Ground School"), all necessary safety equipment, and dedicated guides who will lead you every step of the way!

EMPOWER offers 2-hour adventures (Zip Line Canopy Adventure, Scavenger Hunt, Tree Climbing), half day adventure packages (Aerial Discovery and Laurel Brook Discovery Adventures) and full day adventure experiences (The Deluxe Adventure). EMPOWER has also partnered with The Inn at Middletown for the adult-friendly "Zip & Sip" and "Zip, Sip & Stay" Adventures.

In addition to our recreational-leisure adventure offerings, EMPOWER boasts Connecticut's most dynamic Corporate Team Building, Sports Team Development, and Youth Leadership/Character Development experiences. An EMPOWER group adventure program is perfect for teams and groups who are traveling to Connecticut and are looking to add a fun bonding experience or a team building experience to their trip.
