The Colonial Experience of St. Augustine is a historical attraction located at the Colonial Quarter of St. Augustine. Our \'Living History Tour\' takes you through over 300 years of colonial history here in the oldest city in North America. The story of the founding of the country\'s oldest city, takes you on a journey from the city\'s founding in 1565 through the 2nd Spanish period which ended in 1821. During your tour you will witness a live demonstration by an 18th century blacksmith, the firing of a real musket and so much more. Afterward, explore the property and discover the Sanchez/De Mesa House, which dates back to its original construction in the 1740s, and don\'t forget to climb our 35 foot replica 17th century watchtower, with its stunning views of the Bayfront and the Castillo de San Marcos. Even take a stroll down the Walk of Flags, showing all of the flags which have flown over the city during its over 450 year history!
Later enjoy dining and drinking at one our fantastic food and beverage offers located right on the Colonial Quarter property. Stop in and have a pint at the Bull & Crown English Pub. Visit the Taberna de Caballo for real Spanish cuisine. Our newest offering is the St. Augustine Seafood Company, which offers fast casual seafood for your enjoyment.
Our Colonial Oak Music Park is becoming the \'must see\' location for live music in the city. Enjoy a variety of musical performances under the 300 year old, Colonial Oak. You can even enjoy some awesome adult beverages, including local favorites from one of several bars around the Music Park.
