Hansen's Dairy is a farm-to-table experience! Hansen's is a family-owned on-farm dairy processing facility in Hudson, Iowa. We process whole, 1%, skim and chocolate milk; ice cream; soft serve ice cream; heavy cream; butter; cheese curds; egg nog; ice cream cakes; and ground beef from our 150 dairy cows.
Visitors can tour Hansen's Dairy farm from April through October, Monday through Saturday at 3:30 p.m., BY RESERVATION ONLY. Hands-on tourists will ride a trolley around the farm, bottle-feed a calf, milk a cow, make butter, pet our kangaroos and sample all of our dairy products.

When our products get to your table, they may be only a few hours old. We operate two of our own retail stores at 3015 Kimball Avenue, Waterloo, Iowa; and 127 E. 18th Street, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Our products are available at several grocery stores and restaurants. Buying local is good for the economy and the environment.

The milk comes only from the cows in our closed herd.

We do not inject our cows with rBST/rBGH.

Homogenization breaks down the molecules of milk, which destroys its natural state. Our milk is pasteurized but not homogenized. Some people with lactose intolerance say they can consume Hansen's products with no ill effects. The cream rises to the top, so remember to shake well before serving. Shake, shake, pour!
