Parkette is a 66 year old Lexington landmark and Icon. We are best known for our Double-Decker Cheese Burger called: The Famous Kentucky Poor Boy and our authentic Southern Fried Chicken, still cooked in lard. We have many other popular menu items as well.

In 2012, we were featured on the Food Network's Diner's Drive-In's & Dives, featuring Guy Fieri. It was an awesome experience.
As a matter of fact, in 2015, Diner's Drive-In's & Dives voted our famous double-decker cheeseburger, the Famous Kentucky Poor Boy, #5 in their Top 10 of ALL TIME!
We were also featured on the Rachael Ray Show. Ms. Ray flew me to New York to participate in a Nationwide Burger Challenge, issued on her show by Iron Chef Bobby Flay.
I had the opportunity to cook our Kentucky Hot Brown Burger for both Rachael Ray and Iron Chef Bobby Flay, in front of a live audience.
We were featured on a regional show called The Local Traveler, with Amy Hess. We actually won an Emmy for our segment in 2015.
And one of the best features we have done was Secrets of Bluegrass Chefs. They did an awesome job for us!
