Sheltowee Trace Adventure Resort offers outdoor adventure trips that span a wide array of ages and activity levels, as well as cabins and campgrounds. We are located near Cumberland Falls State Park near Corbin, KY, approximately 10 miles off of I-75 at Exits 15 and 25.
Activities includes both beginner and intermediate whitewater rafting trips on the Big South Fork in the Spring, and family/beginner trips on the Cumberland River in the Summer and Fall. A much easier trip is the Rainbow Mist ride, which takes people up to the base of Cumberland Falls for a close-up view of the Falls. There are canoeing and kayaking trips appropriate for people who have never been in a a boat before, as well as for those with a fair amount of experience. SUP rentals on beautiful Laurel Lake provide a peaceful way to enjoy the lake.
The Cumberland Star riverboat offer lunch cruises, a 2 plus hour relaxing trip, on the headwaters of Lake Cumberland. An on-site zip line provides flying fun for both adults and kids down to age 5, while the climbing wall offers a challenge to those willing to give it a try.
Lodging options include a Resort cabin, rustic cabins, an RV campground, as well as tent camping. Cabins and campsites all have free wifi access (with the exception of the backcountry primitive tentsites). An on-site snack bar offers breakfast and lunch during the summer season. There are campground activities for the kids, and hiking trails on site.
